The Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School

A Church of England School

World Record Attempt

On Tuesday 1st July, 39 Year 9 pupils took part in Jamie Oliver's GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ attempt for the largest cookery lesson (multiple venues).

Jamie had recruited his best chefs at the Cookery School to lead a live, virtual cooking lesson, where pupils made a delicious dish of homemade pasta in a tasty tomato sauce along with hundreds of other pupils at other schools. Jamie himself also was there to support.

The pupils did an amazing job, demonstrating some great pasta making and shaping skills, and all got to sample their food after.

We will find out on 4th July if the attempt was successful.
