Nia represents National Youth Board at Westminster Abbey
Year 10 student Nia is part of the National Anti-Bullying Youth Board. This is made up of young people aged 13-17 from across England who are trained Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. Each member has been selected due to their exceptional passion for and commitment to tackling bullying behaviour in their schools and communities. The board members come from different backgrounds to ensure they represent the diversity of our society.
As part of Nia’s role in the National Youth Board she was invited to Westminster Abby to be part of the congregation for the Christmas Carol service hosted by HRH Princess of Wales. The service is in recognition of those who support children and families in communities across the UK.
The service will be broadcast on Christmas Eve on ITV.
